Cost: $19,525 if completed within the expected time frame.

Schedule: The HRVAC Technology program is available for weekday and evening classes.

Upon Completion: Students will earn their EPA 608 Certificate. We also offer many different specialty certifications in different aspects of the field. Electricity, Air Conditioning, and Combustion Analyzer are just a few.

The following states do not have licensure requirements for the HRVAC or HVAC profession: Maryland.

What skills will you learn in our HRVAC Training Program?

Graduates of our HRVAC school will have a basic understanding of heating, cooling, and refrigeration. The program covers in practice and theory the HRVAC electrical requirements, diagnosing, repairing, and installing HRVAC equipment systems, ductwork, metal fabricating and installation, and an understanding of HRVAC parts and accessories.

We also teach fundamental knowledge needed for optimal customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction. Most importantly, we give you the time and hands-on training you need to allow students to make mistakes and grow with the guidance of our instructors. This allows you to grow as an HRVAC technician and gain the confidence you need to be a pro. We prioritize training well-rounded students, so each graduate of NATS will clearly understand what it takes to be a great employee. They will have firm goals for their future and the knowledge to reach them.

Career Opportunities as an HRVAC or HVAC Technician

Students of NATS’ HVRAC Technician training will be proficiently skilled to assume entry-level positions, such as:

  • Air conditioning service and installation technicians
  • Parts and counter persons
  • Building maintenance
  • Refrigeration technicians
  • Furnace installers, including sheet metal fabricating

Don’t forget that NATS also provides additional certification opportunities for students to expand their HRVAC job opportunities after graduation. This can open career opportunities that are HRVAC specific but maybe not widely known.

Our Job Placement department works closely with our instructors to locate the right job path for the students. We work with students of all backgrounds and assist their career search for an HRAVC job that is best for them. Commercial or residential, we take students’ strengths and help get you in front of the right employer for your specific interests and skill sets.
