HEATING, REFRIGERATION, VENTILATION, & AIR CONDITIONING TECHNOLOGY
This program is designed to provide graduates with the entry-level skills to install and repair as needed: Heating, air conditioning and residential refrigeration equipment. The program covers in practice and theory the HRVAC electrical requirements, diagnosing, repairing and installing HRVAC equipment systems, ductwork, metal fabricating and installation. Understanding of HRVAC parts and accessories.
Graduates should be able to assume entry level positions as air conditioning service and installation technicians, parts and counter persons, building maintenance, refrigeration technicians, furnace installers, including sheet metal fabricating.

A basic understanding of what heating, cooling, and refrigeration is all about, and the fundamental knowledge needed to ensure customer satisfaction, is just a portion of our program. More importantly, we give you the time and room to get the hands-on training you need and allow you to make your mistakes here. This allows you to grow as a technician and gain the confidence you need to be a pro.

BEYOND THE CLASSROOM
Along with your EPA 608 Certificate, we offer many different specialty certifications in different aspects of the field. Electricity, Air Conditioning, and Combustion Analyzer are just a few. This opens MANY career opportunities that are HV ACR specific and not widely known. Our excellent Career Services department works closely with our teachers, pulling on their many years of experience to locate the right job for the students. We can work with many students of all backgrounds and assist them in getting good jobs in this field. Commercial or residential, we take the students strengths and get them in front of the right employer for their particular skill set.
