How to Pay for Trade School in Baltimore
Figuring out how to pay for trade school is one of the most common challenges prospective students face. North American Trade Schools (NATS) is eligible to offer both federal financial aid services and grants funded by the state of Maryland to help students pay for career training.
Students that are interested in financial aid assistance must make an appointment to meet with a Financial Aid Representative. NATS’ financial aid team will help determine which form of funding is best suited for each student and can assist with the application process. The following programs are available to those who qualify.

Loan Programs
- Federal PLUS Loan (PLUS)
- Subsidized Federal Stafford Loan (FSL)
- Unsubsidized Federal Stafford Loan (UFSL)
- Alternative Loan Program (Tuition Financing)
Before a student can be considered for any grants or loan programs, they must complete a FAFSA application. FAFSAs can be completed online or by scheduling an appointment with a NATS representative. North American Trade Schools Federal School Code: 017074.
